This activity features the “residence” of the theater group on campus to present a series of events including workshops on Chinese Opera, exhibitions, and artistic performances. The group spends time among the faculty and students on campus to bring artistic energy to the school. The Guoguang Opera Company has been invited to “take up residence” at National Taiwan University, National Chengchi University, National Dong Hwa University, Taipei Medical University, and City University of Hong Kong. With its campus residence, the company is able to offer a complete series of activities, including introductory workshops, teaching demonstrations, exhibitions, and complete performances of operas at individual schools in brief but event-filled visits. |
