Besides staging performances on a regular basis, the Guoguang Opera Company, in conforming with the curricula for grades 1-9 designed by the Ministry of Education, has hosted many lively and pleasant dramatic arts workshops and activities.  These include workshops for educators, at children’s summer camps, for the community (watching performances at Guoguang’s theater and putting on performances for schools and communities), and colleges.  In addition, a DVD series entitled “Marvelous Chinese Opera” has been released to for the purpose of art education: teachers can introduce the basics of dramatic art through multi-media resources in the classroom.
        “Marvelous Chinese Opera” is divided into three parts: General Introduction, Basic Introduction, and Appreciation, providing a systematic approach to the appreciation of Chinese Opera.
