Zhang Rung comes to the prosperous times of Emperor Qian-Lung and witnesses how much the emperor cherishes an imitation of "Sunlight after Snowfall" by Wang Xi-Zhi.  Though the two do not communicate in any way, they enter into a discussion and debate about the passing of artistic works and the chaotic times by individually speaking out on how they feel.  Hu or Han?  A prosperous time or a time of loss?  All these offer much room for interpretation.  (Wu Bai Yu-Xi as Qian-Lung; Tang Wen-Hua as Zhang Rung)
